Energy Conservation Items and Rebate Amounts

To promote Energy Conservation, Hutchinson Utilities Commission (HUC) is offering rebates to customers in Hutchinson who perform energy wise improvements to their homes and businesses.

The rebates are available on a first-come/first served basis from January 01, 2012 until funds are depleted. Rebates are offered on items that are purchased and installed on or after January 01, 2012. Residential rebate amounts are based on HUC approved list of items up to $500 per household. Commercial rebate amounts are based on a prescriptive list of items up to $2,000 per business. Custom programs are also available for larger commercial projects. In the event the program is discontinued due to depleted funds, HUC will not provide a rebate for items installed between the discontinued date and the end of that year. January 01, 2012 an approved list of items for residential, and a prescriptive list of items for commercial will be available at our Michigan office or at the links on the left.
